As the winter season approaches, it is important that we come together as a community to show God’s love and compassion to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a "Drive to Survive" event, and we invite you to participate! Through Sunday, December 17, we will be collecting donations of adult-sized new or gently used coats, scarves, hats, hand warmers, and mittens. These items will go a long way in providing warmth and comfort to those in need during the cold winter months. If you are unable to bring the donations in person, we have also curated an Amazon Wish List for your convenience (items from this list will ship directly to Church of the City Downtown). This initiative is in partnership with Room in the Inn, an organization that has been tirelessly serving our unhoused neighbors for over 40 years. By supporting this drive, we have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness in our community.
