Church of the City seeks to serve and support couples, regardless of where they are on their marital journey. We want to equip couples with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation necessary for a strong and enduring marriage. Whether in anticipation of a marriage, in pursuit of a deeper and healthier relationship, or in the midst of adversity, our aim is to uphold the sanctity of marriage, nurture bonds between husbands and wives, and guide couples toward a flourishing, Christ-centered relationship.
Weddings & Premarital
We would be honored to walk with you in the weeks and months leading up to your special day. You will spend countless hours between now and then preparing for your wedding – our aim is to help you prepare for your marriage. We have trained marriage mentors willing to walk with you through a series of sessions exploring a variety of topics that will help you build a solid foundation for a Christ-centered marriage.
Additionally, you can request one of our pastoral staff to officiate your special day.
Due to the size of our church and the number of requests, we are only able to offer premarital mentoring and officiants for couples who are Stakeholders or actively-involved attenders at COTC.
Marriage Enrichment
The Marriage Course
The Marriage Course (TMC) is a seven-session experience designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage. Nicky and Sila Lee, authors of The Marriage Book, developed TMC for couples looking for practical support to strengthen their relationship. The course is designed to help couples build strong foundations, learn to communicate more effectively, and resolve differences well.
The current session of The Marriage Course is underway. We’d love to have you join us for the next session, please check back for future dates.
Loveology
Loveology is a free relationship resource – dedicated to answering your questions and providing timely and proven advice from today’s top relationship experts.
Community Groups
Community groups provide a regular space to be known, challenged, supported, and held accountable. Engagement in a regular community of believers – where couples can be honest and vulnerable – is one of the best ways to strengthen your marriage.

If your marriage is in a season of struggle brought about by a loss or transition, our team of marriage mentors is available to come alongside you by providing a safe place to process, help in discerning God’s voice, as well as encouragement and prayer.
Counseling Referral Network
We all experience seasons in life and marriage when counseling can play a vital role in our growth and healing. If you are in need of professional help, we provide counseling referrals from a vetted network of mental health providers.
Pre-Engagement
Are you seriously dating and considering marriage? We have a team of mentors who are able to come alongside you in discerning if engagement is the right next step for you and your significant other.
Due to the number of requests, there may be a wait to be matched with a mentor.
