Church of the City seeks to serve and support couples. We want to help you build the knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation necessary for an enduring marriage. Regardless of where you are on your marital journey, our aim is to uphold the sanctity of marriage, nurture the bonds between husbands and wives, and guide you toward a flourishing, Christ-centered relationship.
We would be honored to walk alongside you in the weeks leading up to your special day. You will spend countless hours preparing for that day; our aim is to help you prepare for the years after that day. Trained pre-marital mentors will guide you through sessions covering a variety of topics, all with the goal of helping you build a strong, Christ-centered marriage foundation.
You can also request one of our pastoral staff to officiate your wedding. Due to the number of requests we receive, we only offer premarital mentoring and officiants to couples who are Stakeholders or actively involved in our church.
Marriage Mentoring
If your marriage is in a season of struggle, our team of marriage mentors wants to support you. We are available to provide prayer, encouragement, and a safe place to process as you seek to discern God’s voice.
Counseling Referral Network
We all experience seasons when counseling can play a vital role in our growth and healing. If you find yourself in one of those seasons, we provide counseling referrals from a vetted network of mental health providers.
If you and your significant other are considering marriage, we have a team of mentors who want to help you discern if engagement is the right next step.
Due to the number of requests, there may be a wait prior to being matched with a mentor.
Community groups provide a regular space to be known, challenged, and supported. One of the best ways to strengthen your marriage is to regularly engage in an honest, vulnerable community of fellow believers.
