We are not all called to foster or adopt, we are all called to care about vulnerable children.
Church of the City has the privilege to walk alongside foster families during the time God calls them to be foster families. As a church we say:
Whether you’ve been around COTC for a while as a foster or adoptive family, or if you’re new to our community, we would love to get to know you. Please help by completing the form below. This will also allow us to share opportunities and gatherings at COTC designed to support and encourage foster and adoptive families.
Provide a Meal – Relieve some stress and build relationships by taking the same family a meal once per month.
Laundry Support – Help the family by picking up their laundry, washing their clothes, folding, & returning it to their home.
Relief Care – Give families and parents relief by providing care for children to allow parents the opportunity for a date night or alone time. This opportunity will require additional training.
Any foster family can come and shop at no cost for tangible items for all the children in their care. We have two open houses a year (Spring and Fall) to help with kids needing new clothes for the current season. Our on-call team fields calls for shopping appointments 7 days per week and can be reached at (931)215-3764.
If you would like to donate to the Wrap Around Closet you can drop off during the following days/times.
Mondays 2PM – 4PM
Wednesdays 10AM – 2PM
Thursdays 9:30AM – 11AM
The church offices at COTC Spring Hill are open Monday – Thursday from 9AM – 2PM and donations can be dropped off there as well.
